Adult workshops and events

Your creative antidote to the digital world

Spend a relaxing day or half day in an art and craft workshop

The materials available are upcycled or donated and you can choose what you would like to make, or bring some of your own preloved materials. Small group sizes and guidance to suit your needs.

Creative options

  • Mosaic using reclaimed, upcycled ceramic, glass, crockery, preserving memories from your precious items.

  • Mixed media glass, pigment, plastic, dried paint, fibre and other waste materials, mark-making.

  • Collage, cutting and placing paper and combining with glue and pigment

  • Textile art and craft, simple stitching, weaving, small baskets

  • Junk journaling, visual storytelling with cut-outs and words to keep a record of experiences and feelings.

These creative sessions are held in a studio garden in Macleod, north-east Melbourne, or at a venue that suits you.

Using reclaimed items is a cost-effective, sustainable and creative way to make. The experience invites storytelling to discover how the materials came to be prized or used in art and craft making.
